High Gear

Well, thats it. My days of relaxed (sometimes, dare I say it, bordering on lazy) work days are over. I am now officially kicking it into high gear.

We got back from Rondeau on Wednesday afternoon, and both Ahren and I hit the ground running. I ran out 3 hours after we got home to teach a soapmaking workshop, and Ahren ran out almost immediately to cultivate his fields before all the rain started.

And basically, we won't be stopping anytime soon.

Spring is fully hear, and with it comes the realization that my first show is only 3 weeks away. Whoa. How did that happen?

For Ahren, it means that crops have to get in the ground, stat. Especially since Environment Canada is calling for a ridiculously hot and dry summer. Those little seeds need all the help they can get, which means getting them in the ground now while its still cool and wet.

This season, of shows and growing, is shaping up to be the busiest one yet, since Ahren and I both started our businesses.

I'm almost looking forward to January.
